Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in Your Community We understand that anti-social behaviour (ASB) is not a "low-level" issue—it significantly impacts your quality of life and safety. In line with our A New Met for London strategy, we are prioritizing precise, community-first policing to target the behaviours that matter most to you. Our Action Plan for 2026 Precision Hotspot Policing: We have identified 32 high-priority town centres and high streets across London where we are deploying additional officers to target ASB, shoplifting, and street crime.Increased Visibility: We are strengthening our neighbourhood teams by ensuring every ward has a dedicated team of at least two officers and one PCSO. Furthermore, we have recently redeployed specialist ASB officers directly into these local teams to provide frontline expertise in managing persistent offenders.Operation Resolve (2025/26): Our current operational focus, Operation Resolve, specifically targets ASB and serious violence through a combination of increased patrols and intelligence-led operations.Zero-Tolerance Enforcement: We are utilizing the full range of legal powers, including Community Protection Notices (CPN) and Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBO), to deal with prolific offenders. We also work with local councils to implement Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) and closure orders for problematic properties.How to Report and Take Action
